Dynamo Models A35012 – 1/35 STG 44 – Set of 5 Guns is a highly detailed weapon accessory set containing five Sturmgewehr 44 assault rifles. Designed for 1/35 scale military modeling, each weapon is produced in high-resolution 3D-printed resin to reproduce the characteristic stock, curved magazine, barrel and receiver of this famous late-WWII German firearm. The set is ideal for upgrading infantry figures, adding weapons to vehicles or introducing finely detailed equipment into late-war dioramas. Dynamo Models officially confirms five STG 44 rifles, 1/35 scale, high-resolution 3D resin printing and unassembled, unpainted presentation.
Contexte historique et thème
The Sturmgewehr 44 was developed during World War II around the 7.92 × 33 mm Kurz intermediate cartridge. Earlier forms of the weapon appeared under the MP43 and MP44 designations before the Sturmgewehr 44 name was adopted during the final phase of the war. The concept combined greater practical range and power than a submachine gun with controllable selective fire and a more compact format than traditional full-power military rifles.
The StG 44 became particularly associated with German forces during the later stages of the conflict. U.S. Army historical research records German troops entering combat with related weapons from 1943 and American forces encountering the StG 44 in the Ardennes in December 1944. It was subsequently seen in increasing numbers among late-war German formations.
Its distinctive design and historical importance make it especially relevant to German infantry scenes from 1944–1945.
Détails et réalisme des figurines et véhicules
The StG 44 has a highly recognizable profile formed by its pressed-metal receiver, wooden buttstock and strongly curved detachable magazine. A preserved example in the Australian War Memorial collection confirms its gas-operated, selective-fire construction, laminated wooden stock and 30-round detachable box magazine.
Dynamo Models reproduces these visual characteristics in miniature through high-resolution 3D resin printing. The manufacturer specifically highlights details including the stock, magazine, barrel and weapon mechanisms.
With five rifles supplied, A35012 allows several infantry figures to be equipped consistently or provides individual weapons for multiple modeling projects.
Utilisation en diorama et en affichage
A35012 is particularly suitable for late-WWII German infantry dioramas. The StG 44 can accompany figures in Eastern Front, Normandy, Ardennes or final-defense settings when appropriate to the precise date and unit being represented.
The rifles can be carried by infantry figures, positioned beside resting soldiers or incorporated into ruined buildings, trenches and defensive positions. They are also useful around tanks, half-tracks and other military vehicles where accompanying infantry or crew equipment is being modeled.
For Battle of the Bulge scenes in particular, the weapon is historically appropriate: U.S. Army documentation records American troops encountering StG 44 rifles in the Ardennes during December 1944.
Matériel et personnalisation
Dynamo Models A35012 contains five 1/35 scale STG 44 rifles manufactured in high-resolution 3D-printed resin. The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paint are not included.
Painting can emphasize the contrast between the wooden buttstock and the predominantly metal construction of the firearm. Carefully controlled metallic highlights, subtle wear and tonal variation on the stock can bring out the fine printed detail while maintaining a realistic scale appearance.
The rifles can also be integrated with suitable slings or additional figure equipment when supported by the references used for the particular scene.
À qui s'adresse-t-il ?
This set is ideal for 1/35 WWII figure painters, German military modelers, armor builders and diorama creators looking to upgrade kit-supplied weapons with highly detailed resin alternatives.
The five-rifle format is especially practical for infantry groups, vehicle-mounted troops and larger late-war scenes requiring several matching weapons.
