Operation Dynamo

Operation Dynamo, also known as Dunkirk evacuation, was a momentous turning point in the history of World War II. The brave efforts of British, French, and Belgian soldiers who were trapped in the North of France and West of Flanders are still hailed as heroic. The evacuation, which took place between May 26 and June 4, 1940, remains etched in the annals of history as one of the most daring operations. During this perilous time, 338,226 soldiers were rescued from various beaches in the North of France, with Dunkirk beach being the most well-known among them. The codename for this mission was Operation Dynamo, and it has become synonymous with bravery, sacrifice, and courage.
