Description
The Panzerjäger-Fahrzeuge mit 7.5 cm PaK 40 S 307(f) were German tank destroyers of World War II. They were built on the basis of French SOMUA MCG half-track artillery tractors, which were taken over by the Germans after the occupation of France. The platform of these vehicles was mounted with the German 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun.
These vehicles had an open, armored body that protected a crew of 3-4 men. About 72 of these tank destroyers were produced. They were mainly used by the 21st Panzer Division (21. Panzer-Division).
