Description
The sReihenwerfer auf Fahrgestell S 303 (f) was a German self-propelled salvo mortar used during World War II. The vehicle was based on the chassis of the French Somua S 303 (f) half-tracked personnel carrier, which was taken over by the Wehrmacht after the Fall of France in 1940.
The Reihenwerfer was armed with 16 mortars mounted on a rotating platform, which allowed it to fire in various directions. The vehicle was mainly used by Waffen-SS and Wehrmacht units to provide fire support to infantry and destroy enemy fortifications
